Similar to what some teams did in the past couple of weeks, the Philadelphia 76ers will also hold their own open practice for their fans.

The event is scheduled on October 19 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Liacouras Center at Temple University and is free of charge.

This will give the fans a chance to see how the team practices to prepare themselves for renaissance season. Getting to see players like Joel Embiid and the rest of the young Sizers up close will surely be a treat to the Philly faithful.

After ending up with the worst record in the league last season, the Sixers have a lot of hope this year and are planning to make some noise in the Eastern Conference. They want to have their fans excited and bring the team closer to them. This can be the start of a big change to the team and bring  back a winning culture to their storied franchise.

With a lot of festivities scheduled, including performances from the team’s dancers and their mascot, Franklin, the event will surely be a lot of fun.

The 76ers will play their final preseason game two days after the open practice and will kickoff their season on October 26 at home against the Russell Westbrook-led Oklahoma City Thunder.
