The Philadelphia 76ers already have the first overall pick in Thursday’s NBA Draft, but they’re not stopping there.

According to Calkins Media's Tom Moore, Bryan Colangelo told reporters he is looking to trade their Nos. 24 and 26 picks for another lottery spot.

“We're evaluating what might be there in the middle teens,” Colangelo said Tuesday. “We would like to move into the top eight.”

The Sixers are already expected to take LSU star Ben Simmons with the first pick. They also have Joel Embiid (2014 third overall pick) returning after sitting out two years with injury.

“We've identified six or seven players we'd like to get,” Colangelo said. “We will get one of them.”

There have also been rumors of trades involving either Nerlens Noel or Jahlil Okafor. With so much young frontcourt talent on their roster, this summer’s offseason could be a big one for the once-great franchise hoping to finally take a step in the right direction.
