Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is back to his old tricks in trying to get New York Knicks big man Kristaps Porzingis to team up with him.

Porzingis, who is currently on international duty with his country Latvia for EuroBasket, recently posted a picture of himself on Instagram which included the Sixers' famous mantra, “Trust the Process.”

Never one to miss much on social media, Embiid commented on Porzingis’ post, jokingly asking the Latvian whether he was coming to Philly. Stefan Marolachakis screengrabbed said comment and posted it on Twitter.

This isn't the first time Embiid has tried to woo the “Unicorn.” Earlier this summer, during the heat of Porzingis' failure to show up for the Knicks' exit meeting, Embiid tweeted that the Sixers didn't care about exit meetings in Philly and that Porzingis would be “welcome to join.”

But while the Knicks contemplated trading Kristaps Porzingis when Jackson was at the helm, the current management feels like he's an integral part of the team's future. They didn’t even want to include their young star in possible trades for Kyrie Irving.

So while Joel Embiid’s persistence is admirable, it’s more likely that the two talented big men will be playing against one another as Atlantic Division rivals than joining forces in the foreseeable future.
