There are three difficult things in the world: 1. Find true love, 2. Achieve world peace, and 3. Be a Philadelphia 76ers fan.

It's extra hard these days for the Sixers faithful with the Ben Simmons drama dragging longer than the Twilight saga. Simmons is still not communicating with the team, including coach Doc Rivers and star center Joel Embiid. Obviously, things are getting more complicated for Sixers fans.

In fact, according to an online study, the Sixers have the most stressed supporters in the NBA, with 29 percent of social media posts qualifying as stressed (via Reddit).

In order to conduct the research, BETUS pulled 100,000 tweets and forums for each team and ran them through a tool called TensiStrength to determine the level of stress and relaxation. “Tensions are high for sports fans when it comes to the biggest games in the league, and Reddit and Twitter are safe spaces for them to let off some steam.” the website read.

Following the Sixers, the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers have the second most stressed fanbase at 27 percent each. In contrast, the Chicago Bulls have the most positive-feeling supporters with a grade of 84 percent.

While most teams have already made roster improvements, the Sixers are stuck in purgatory with the Simmons situation. The embattled All-Star has been linked to a slew of teams but rumors have dissipated recently.

To be fair, Simmons has been putting in the work in the offseason. Maybe it's time he works with the Sixers brass as well. Unless you know, that would be too stressful.
