It is not uncommon for players from different sports to pay homage to each other. Athletes usually show their appreciation by wearing their favorite player's shoes or emulating their playing style.

However, New York Giants superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. took it a step further by getting all of his icons tattooed on his leg. Among the notable figures is NBA legend Allen Iverson, who recently said it was an honor to be a part of Beckham Jr.'s ink, according to TMZ Sports.

“That's cool, man,” Iverson said. “I thought that was dope. You know what I mean? I'm a big fan … definitely an honor.”

For those that have not seen, Odell Beckham Jr. got perhaps Iverson's most iconic photo in which he is stepping over then-Los Angeles Lakers point guard Tyronn Lue, right above Olympic track star Jesse Owens. The Giants' star wideout has shown high praise for “The Answer” and has even credited him for being the reason why he wears the number three. Beckham Jr. wore number three at LSU, however, had to switch to No. 13 upon entering the NFL.

That said, there are plenty of similarities between the two and how they approach their perspective sports. One could even argue that they are among the most entertaining athletes the sports world has seen over the last two decades.
