The ESPN cameras caught Philadelphia 76ers veteran big man Amir Johnson checking his phone on the bench while the Sixers were getting blown out by the Brooklyn Nets in Game 1 of their first round series.

Sixers star center Joel Embiid was sitting next to Johnson and was looking at the phone as well.

This is a very bad look for Amir Johnson, Joel Embiid and the Sixers.

Players aren't allowed to have their phone on the bench. Johnson wasn't going to play on Saturday, but that doesn't mean you can have your phone with you and not be engaged in the game.

The bad part about this is that Johnson has been in the league since 2005. He knows better than anyone the rules of the NBA. It wouldn't be a surprise to see the Sixers fine Johnson for this incident.

Saturday was just a terrible day for Philly. They lost Game 1 to the Nets and didn't look in sync at all. All-Star Jimmy Butler was the only player that showed up, finishing with 36 points in 39 minutes.

Embiid had 22 points, but he didn't look like his usual dominant self. The star big man is still dealing with pain in his left knee.
