In the middle of the first quarter of the Philadelphia 76ers' game against the Atlanta Hawks, Sixers superstar Ben Simmons found himself wide open under the cup, following a gorgeous bullet pass from big man Amir Johnson. The pass led to a monster flush from the Sixers sophomore, who let out a roar as he came down from the basket.

However, Simmons didn't even acknowledge the great find from Johnson. As you can see at 1:12 of this video, Simmons did not even raise a finger at Johnson to credit him for the pass.

Luckily for the Sixers' back up big man, Simmons posted a photo of the slam on his Instagram. This where Johnson pounced and reminded Simmons that he was the one who made the play happen, and thanked himself in the process.

Come on, Ben. All Amir wants is just a little love from his franchise superstar. Anyway, Johnson was probably just poking fun at Big Ben.

The Sixers romped the Hawks at home, 113-92 as they improved to 4-3 early in their 2018-19 campaign. Simmons led the way for his squad, notching a near triple-double of 21 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists on an efficient 8-of-11 shooting. Johnson, on the other hand, played 15 minutes off the bench and netted 2 points and 6 rebounds. He also handed out three assists on the night, one of which was the unacknowledged assist from Simmons.

While this was an easy outing for the Sixers, they will face a tough challenge tonight as they head up north to face Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors in what is sure to be a marquee match-up for the evening.
