The Philadelphia 76ers have two of the best defensive guards in the NBA anchoring their backcourt in Ben Simmons and Josh Richardson. The Sixers expect both players to wreck havoc on opposing guards this season.

Simmons and Richardson expect their chemistry to improve as the season goes along. Both players are already enjoying playing with each other.

“I love playing with him,” Simmons said of Richardson, via the Philadelphia Inquirer. “Off the court, he’s a great person, and on it, he’s a dog. Defensively he’s amazing, and offensively he’s athletic and knocking down shots.”

“Just from our defensive potential, we’re two great defensive guards. And I know he likes to run, so I’m just trying to make sure I’m one of the guys that can keep up with him, that’s out there with him, so he has passes he can make or bailouts,” Richardson said. “But he’s a smart player, I like to think of myself as a smart player. … As our group has been coming together, I think the chemistry is good.”

The Sixers have four stout defenders on the team in Ben Simmons, Josh Richardson, Al Horford and Joel Embiid.

Teams are going to have nightmares trying to score on the Sixers this season, that's for sure.
