As the 2017-18 NBA season approaches, players are currently revealing their face scans and ratings for NBA 2K18. While most players believe their ratings should be higher, there is one player who has decided not to release his prior to training camp.

After Ronnie 2K DMed Ben Simmons his screenshot, the Philadelphia 76ers forward had the following to say about the basketball game on Twitter:

This may be the very first time a player has publicly refused to share a screenshot to basketball fans around the world. After missing the entire 2016-17 season due to a broken foot, Simmons may not be too thrilled with his player rating, which was fairly high in his video game debut.

Heading into the new season, there is great optimism for Philadelphia after a strong rebuild. With Simmons, Joel Embiid, Dario Saric, and Markelle Fultz establishing the team's young core, the Sixers added veterans JJ Redick and Amir Johnson in free agency.

Since they are extremely young, it remains to be seen if they can make the playoffs in the weak Eastern Conference. However, Simmons and Embiid must first show they are capable of playing a majority of the 82-game season before they begin to think about the postseason.
