Sixers All-Star point-forward Ben Simmons is on pace to become the first player since the legendary Oscar Robertson to average at least 16 points, eight rebounds and eight assists over his first two seasons in the NBA, according to Basketball Reference.

Simmons currently has career averages of 16.4 points, 8.6 rebounds and 8.0 assists.

Ben Simmons won the 2018 Rookie of the Year Award and hasn't slowed down this season.

In 70 games for the Sixers this campaign, Simmons is putting up 17.1 points, 9.0 rebounds and 7.8 assists. The lefty is shooting 56.9 percent from the field and has recorded 40 double-doubles and 10 triple-doubles.

Anytime you can join a list that has Oscar Robertson on it, you are doing something right. Pundits are always talking about how Simmons can't shoot yet, but it's time we start focusing more on the things he's great at.

Simmons can get to the rim whenever he wants and finish with either hand. His passing skills are elite and so is his awareness and IQ of the game.

Does Simmons eventually have to develop an outside shot? Absolutely. But there's plenty of time for the 22-year-old to add more pieces to his game as his career moves along. And one thing we do know is that Simmons is a very hard worker.
