Philadelphia 76ers All-Star point forward Ben Simmons is training with Miami Heat legend and future Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade, a sight Sixers fans love to see.

Can Dwyane Wade be the guy who gets Ben Simmons to the next level by helping him get a jump shot? Perimeter shooting is the only thing lacking in Simmons' game — he's already elite in the open court, a tremendous passer, superb defender and good teammate. The Sixers just need Simmons to develop a mid-range jumper at least.

This past season, Ben Simmons averaged 16.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and 7.7 assists. The lefty shot 56.3 percent from the field, but all of those shots were in the paint or at the rim. The Sixers' floor general doesn't attempt any mid-range shots and has only attempted 17 shots from beyond the arc in his first two seasons in the NBA.

Simmons can also be seen training with Chris Johnson, a private NBA player development coach. He is the full-time skills and development coach for former Sixers small forward Jimmy Butler, who is now with the Miami Heat.

The Sixers could still be title contenders next season even though they lost Butler. Philly agreed to a free agent deal with All-Star big man Al Horford and also acquired Josh Richardson from the Heat in the sign-and-trade deal for Butler.
