The Philadelphia 76ers are trying to pull off something that has never been down before: come back and win a series in which they lost the first three games. To complete such a feat, it's going to take a special performance and focus from the Sixers, and Brett Brown is pulling out all the stops.

According to ESPN, Brown brought in a mentalist to perform some mind-reading and execute card tricks after the team dinner on Tuesday night.

Guard TJ McConnell, who played a huge role in the Game 4 victory, was impressed by what the mentalist was able to do.

“He does some pretty incredible stuff,” guard T.J. McConnell said.

The 76ers are hoping that they can pull off something incredible too, and coach Brown is pretty confident in the gameplan that he has prepared.

“We have a gameplan that we're confident in, we have a rotation that we believe in, and they have a spirit still to move this thing forward,” coach Brett Brown said. “We want to go back to Philadelphia [for Game 6].”

One part of that gameplan is to have McConnell continue starting, with Robert Covington still coming off the bench.

McConnell played 39 minutes in Game 4, putting up 19 points, seven rounds, and five assists. He was a problem for the Boston Celtics on the defensive end of the court all night.

After the dinner on Tuesday, McConnell feels good and ready to go for Game 5.

“It was just fun,” McConnell said. “Brett does a good job of that, not having a real businesslike dinner. It was more calm and funny.”
