Following the Philadelphia 76ers' 130-103 rout over the Miami Heat on Saturday, the Sixers hit a road bump on Monday night when the Heat bounced back with a 113-103 victory to tie the series at 1-1.

Sixers star center Joel Embiid, who has missed the first two games of the series due to a facial fracture suffered in a collision with rookie teammate Markelle Fultz, took to his Instagram story to post an NSFW message about not being able to play.

After getting word of Embiid's post via members of the media, Sixers head coach Brett Brown gave his take on what his star center said.

“He just wants to play basketball, he wants to be with his team,” Brown said. “He wants to play in front of the fans and he wants to see this through. When he's not able to do that, he gets frustrated and I respect his frustration.”

Coach Brown said that Embiid was born with this type of competitive spirit and he understands why he's upset with not being able to be out on the court at such a crucial time.

“It's born out of competitiveness and it's born out of him wanting to be with his team. The medical side and the different reasons, I'm not going to go there,” Brown said.

Will Embiid be cleared by the Sixers' medical staff to play in a pivotal Game 3 on Wednesday night at AmericanAirlines Center? Let's hope so.
