There is no doubt the Philadelphia 76ers are one of the best all-around teams in the Eastern Conference, and head coach Brett Brown continues to have immense faith in the Sixers franchise.

With the Sixers already locked to make the postseason in the NBA restart in Orlando, Brown expressed his belief that they will not have a problem performing and stepping up in the playoffs. After all, for him, Philly boasts a defensive presence that is a cut above the rest,

“I think there is a defensive presence, that makes me say that as much as anything,” Brett Brown said of his team, via Jon Johnson of SPORTSRADIO WIP94. “Really, it's driven more from a defensive comment and opinion as much as anything.”
As is stands today, Brown and his Sixers sit in sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings, though they currently own the exact same record as the fifth-placed Indiana Pacers. At 39-26, Brown and Co. are also only two full games behind the fourth-placed Miami Heat. However, it is unlikely for them to go above the fourth seed, with the Boston Celtics firmly at third with a 43-21 record.
With the likes of Ben Simmons, Al Horford and Joel Embiid fully healthy and ready to lead the way for the Sixers, Brown will need to keep his team focused and poised if Philadelphia is going to make a serious noise in the playoffs.
