ESPN's Zach Lowe thinks that the current issue with Philadelphia 76ers guard Markelle Fultz is the craziest that he has remembered, and former NBA star Chris Bosh also chimed in on the situation during a recent discussion with Rachel Nichols on âThe Jump.â
âBeing a No. 1 pick is way different, you know. So you gonna have potential, you gonna have pressure, you gonna have things you have to deal with.â
Some really good insight from @ChrisBosh on the outside pressures Markelle Fultz is dealing with and also @ZachLowe_NBA calls this "the craziest story I can remember in the NBA." To which I argue it's not even the craziest story on this team this year. #Burnergate đ€·đ»ââïž pic.twitter.com/80bcNISDnA

Markelle Fultz is currently unavailable due to problems with his shoulder. Not to mention his rookie year was also marred by his shoulder issues. Nobody knows whether he can go back on the right track.
This week, doctors diagnosed Fultz with thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS). This condition limits the ability of the arms and hands to perform at their best.
Fultz will miss three to six weeks as a result of this setback as he will undergo rehabilitation on his shoulder in Los Angeles.
A talented shooter coming out of Washington, Fultz was picked first overall by the Sixers in 2017. In his rookie year, however, he didn't meet expectations because he only played in 14 games. He averaged 7.1 points, 3.1 assists and 3.8 rebounds that season.
This season has been no different from his rookie year. Injuries once again have served as a hindrance to his playing time. The Sixers are on a roll this season, but Markelle Fultz has not been a significant part in their team's good run as he tries to get over these issues.
