Markelle Fultz's jump shot is still a work in progress but Philadelphia 76ers fans are all behind him as he continues to search for his stroke. In the Sixers' home opener against the Chicago Bulls, 19,000 Philly fans even reminded the sophomore guard, in unison, to take his shot.

Via ESPN's Bobby Marks:

Probably not a good way for Markelle Fultz to get his confidence going is for 19,000 fans to scream “shoot” every time he touches it.

While one has to love the enthusiasm, it also makes others wonder if the seemingly-sarcastic chants are helping Fultz. After all, he finished the night shooting 5-of-15 from the floor.
Shooting woes aside, Markelle Fultz played a pretty solid game. Outside of his 12 points, he also contributed four rebounds, five assists, and two steals. The Sixers won this game to the tune of 127-108.
Many consider Fultz as the final piece of the process. But plenty of patience must be invested on him and his rare situation. The Sixers gave up the chance to draft possibly Jayson Tatum in order to secure Fultz's services and no one can blame the front office for doing so.
Markelle Fultz had star written all over him after only one year in college. The Sixers guard can do it all and he plays with a poise and savvy that are rarely seen from players around his age.
Fultz and the Sixers will play against the Orlando Magic next — still at home and in front of an eager Philadephia crowd.
