New Philadelphia 76ers shooting guard Danny Green has high expectations for Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris and the entire Sixers team.

Green, a three-time champion with the San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors and Los Angeles Lakers, expressed his belief the Sixers can win it all next season and that Simmons, Embiid and Harris will play a huge role for the club.

“I don't set any individual goals, what I'm looking at is team goals,” new Sixers guard Danny Green told Melissa Rohlin of Fox Sports.

“I want this team to have 50, 60 wins. I want two or three guys on the All-Defensive team. I want to get two or three All-Stars on our team. There's no reason why we (Sixers) can't have two or three All-Stars on our team. And there's no reason why we can't be the last team standing or at least make the Finals. So these are the goals that I see for our group.

“It's my job to not only individually be better, but to as a group make us better. And that's putting confidence in the young guys, making sure they know what we need to do, what it takes with Joel and Ben. And having [Simmons] have confidence in himself to shoot that jump shot because I know he can do it. … And get Tobias [Harris] on board, playing both sides of the ball.

“Those are the things that they brought me in to do, not just play my role, but coach these guys to be ready for when the time comes so that when we compete, we're one of the last teams standing.”

The Sixers, who got swept by the Boston Celtics in the first round of the 2020 playoffs at Walt Disney World, haven't made it past the second round of the postseason with Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid leading the way.

Now, fans are hoping new head coach Doc Rivers and new president of basketball operations Daryl Morey can take the Sixers franchise to new heights.

Tobias Harris is making a lot of money from the Sixers and he didn't live up to the hype last season. However, with the departure of Al Horford and the arrivals of Danny Green and Seth Curry, there should be more space on the floor for Harris to work with next season.
