The Philadelphia 76ers advanced to the second round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs after topping the Washington Wizards in five games. The surprising hero for the Sixers was Seth Curry, who dropped a playoff career-high 30 points. Oddly enough, Sixers President of basketball operations Daryl Morey posted a tweet that could perhaps be a recruitment pitch to Seth's brother.

Morey apparently loved Stephen Curry's post praising his brother for a huge performance and shot his shot at trying to pair the Curry brothers together. Just a few minutes later Morey responded to the initial tweet to clarify.

“My goodness folks I am talking about the fact that we are all thrilled @sdotcurryis here with the @sixers— nothing else!”

Still, it is always fun to speculate. The duo of Seth and Steph Curry would certainly be fun to watch and give opposing teams massive headaches.

The Sixers are now out to face Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks and might be without star center and MVP candidate Joel Embiid for some time. Although he is officially listed as day-to-day, the injury could sideline him for a decent amount of time.

Seth Curry will have to keep stringing together big performances like that if the Sixers want to continue their run and claim an Eastern Conference title.
