Philadelphia 76ers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey found a way to jab at former President Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani following the Sixers' ugly loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday.

Morey tweeted out a picture of himself by the Four Seasons Total Landscaping business in Northeast Philadelphia, complete with a perfect caption:

The photo and caption reference an infamous press conference held by Giuliani, in which he continued to further the conspiracy of voter fraud in the state of Pennsylvania during the 2020 election.

Nearly all of the Trump teams' lawsuits alleging voter fraud were thrown out. They had absolutely no weight in changing the outcome of the election, with Joe Biden having since been inaugurated as President of the United States.

Morey has never been shy about expressing political views on Twitter. His tweet in support of protestors in Hong Kong was one of the major storylines in the league toward the start of the 2019-20 season.

But back to the hardwood. The Sixers were absolutely bludgeoned by a Blazers team that was without Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum and Jusuf Nurkic. Gary Trent Jr. and Carmelo Anthony led the way in scoring with 24 points and 22 points, respectively, while Enes Kanter went for 17 points and 18 rebounds.

Portland outscored Philadelphia 40-19 in the third quarter, running away with the contest after the break. The Sixers — essentially at full strength minus Ben Simmons — shot a mere 25.9 percent and were shockingly crushed 53-37 on the glass.

The Blazers responded to Morey's tweet in perfect fashion:

Philadelphia is still in terrific shape, despite the loss. The Sixers are first in the Eastern Conference, and Joel Embiid continues to play at an MVP level.

But Morey had to lend some humor to the situation given the ugly nature of Thursday's loss.
