Once in a while, stories pop up about players from opposing teams talking to one another, sharing advice. Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors and Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers are the most recent ones to join the trend.

As reported by Jessica Camerato of NBC Sports Philadelphia, Green has been texting playoff advice to Embiid:

Joel Embiid received a text from Draymond Green after Sixers won game one. “He basically told me that it’s not going to be the same in game two,” Embiid recalled. The Heat won the second game. Embiid is prepared for them to make adjustments in game five.

To recall, Embiid did not play up until Game 3. Yet it was still some helpful advice offered by Green. It is Embiid's first playoff series in his young career. Green was simply telling him that playoff games are way different than regular season games. The opposing teams are going to study your team's plays and individual tendencies.

Embiid and his team might have taken Green's advice to heart. They have a commanding 3-1 lead against the Heat. They have a chance to close it out at home tomorrow, 8 p.m. E.T. They have a pretty good chance of taking the series. Especially since they have won 25 of the last 27 games at home, dating back to the regular season.
