The Philadelphia 76ers are a young team on the rise. They boast a truckload of young, impressive talented players like the 21-year old Furkan Korkmaz. The sweet-shooting guard exploded in Turkey's game against Dennis Schroder's Germany, going off for 23 big points.

HoopsHype's Frank Urbina posted a tweet with highlights from the Turkish young gun.

Korkmaz was dropping jumpers all over the floor, most of them coming off the dribble. He partnered with Cleveland Cavaliers' Cedi Osman to combine for 43 points, per Eurohoops.net. The team would survive a brilliant Schroder performance of 32 points and 14 assists as Turkey rallied past Germany during a preparation tournament for the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.

After being selected with the 26th pick in the 2016 Draft, Korkmaz delayed his NBA debut when he decided to play overseas for one year. The 6-foot-7 shooting guard finally played for the Sixers last season, appearing in 14 games. Despite his measly rookie year production, Korkmaz could prove to be a quality player judging from his outstanding performance during the recently concluded NBA Summer League.

In a loss to the Celtics during a summer league game, Korkmaz erupted for 40 points, six rebounds, two assists, and eight three-pointers. He also showed his knack for drawing fouls as he went to the line several times, making 12 of his 15 free throws.

The Sixers are primed for takeoff this upcoming season and Korkmaz is expected to have a more consistent role in the team's rotation. Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons will undoubtedly attract much of the opposing team's defense, leaving shooters like Korkmaz and JJ Redick open to launch from deep.
