Jahlil Okafor has yet to have his fourth-year option picked up by the Philadelphia 76ers, and after logging only one appearance through seven games thus far in the season, it's no surprise why the franchise is hesitating.

The Sixers have been trying to move Okafor for two years now, but with every day that passes and every DNP-CD he racks up throughout the year, his stock gets lower and lower, possibly below a Halloween candy wrapper at this point in time.

The big man was brilliantly efficient in his only stint on the court this season, picking up 10 points and nine rebounds in 22 minutes off the bench, making up for the absence of Joel Embiid in the back end of a back-to-back.

Yet the sample size remains too small to garner any real attention from teams around the league, plus an injury history and the perception that he is a defensive liability, making him a player most have tried to avoid trading for.

The Sixers picked up Justin Anderson's $2.3 million option, according to Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer, but Okafor is in line to make $6.3 million during his fourth year, if the option is picked up — a hefty jump in salary for merely taking up a seat in the bench.
