In the Philadelphia 76ers' Game 2 win against the Toronto Raptors, Sixers All-Star small forward Jimmy Butler did something he's never done in his NBA career before.

Butler attempted 10 3-pointers. It was the most attempts from beyond the arc Butler has launched in a game since he came into the NBA back in 2011. The Sixers' do-it-all swingman made four 3-pointers and finished with 30 points on the night.

After practice on Wednesday, Butler revealed to local reporters he doesn't like shooting 3-pointers and that he's going to play the game the right way by taking what the defense gives him.

“I don't like shooting 3s,” Butler said, via Dave McMenamin of ESPN. “I'm going to continue to play the game the right way. If I'm open, I'm going to shoot it. If not, I'm going to pass it. I'm always going to look for the open guy.”

Butler only scored 10 points in the Sixers' Game 1 loss, so he knew he had to come out in Game 2 and be more aggressive. The four-time All-Star shot 9-of-22 from the field and grabbed 11 rebounds as well. It was a huge performance for Butler, who had to be the main cog on offense since Joel Embiid wasn't 100 percent in Game 2.

The Sixers stole home-court advantage from the Raptors. Philly will look to take a 2-1 series lead in Game 3, which is on Thursday in Philadelphia.
