Sixers shooting guard JJ Redick becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer and the sharpshooter says three things will factor into his decision.

Redick, who made $12,250,000 this season, will prioritize stability, a chance to win and money in free agency.

“You factor in money, you factor in stability, you factor in the opportunity to win, and that with each passing year becomes a little more important I think for me,” Redick said, via Derek Bodner of The Athletic. “The last two years have been as good as I’ve had in my career, in terms of the organization, fan support, enjoying your teammates, enjoying the staff. It’s been very special for sure.”

Redick and the Sixers lost to the Toronto Raptors in the second round of the playoffs in seven games. Raptors star Kawhi Leonard hit an epic game-winning shot at the buzzer in Game 7 to send Toronto to the Eastern Conference Finals.

During the regular season, Redick averaged 18.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists while shooting 44.0 percent from the field, 39.7 percent from beyond the arc and 89.4 percent from the free-throw line.

You can never have enough shooters on your team and Redick is one of the best snipers we have in the NBA. You would expect the Sixers to re-sign Redick since they need spacing around Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. Tobias Harris and Jimmy Butler are also free agents this summer.
