Joel Embiid addressed the Philadelphia 76ers' recent offensive struggles after the team went on two separate three-game losing skids recently. Those two losing streaks came after they won 15 of 18 games from mid-November to mid-December.

The team has struggled to click offensively, despite having a lineup loaded with talent (Embiid, Ben Simmons, Al Horford, Tobias Harris) and a capable coach in Brett Brown, which should lead to better results. After losing six of their last nine games, the Sixers will go into the Toyota Center to face the Houston Rockets on Friday.

Embiid tried his best to calm the waters amid a losing streak. During this stretch, the Sixers have fallen from the third spot to sixth after their recent loss to the Indiana Pacers.

“We just got to look at ourselves and see what we can do individually, we've got to help each other even if it means being outside of your comfort zone for the greater [good] to help the team win,” said Embiid, according to Kyle Neubeck of The Philly Voice. “Meaning that, if you've got to space and shoot it, you've got to do it. We need everybody to buy into that and we'll be fine, we're going to be fine. We're still finding our groove, we haven't been totally healthy, the whole starting lineup. Like I said, we'll be fine.”

Embiid was thriving shortly after TNT's Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal criticized his lackluster play, but the 7-footer has fallen back into indecision. This problem has also plagued the rest of his Sixers teammates, most of whom are too hesitant to take and make the right shot for the benefit of the team, something that has only translated into losses.

On the season, Embiid is averaging 23.7 points, 12.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.4 blocks per game.
