Through the first six games of the season, Philadelphia 76ers rising star big man Joel Embiid has picked up where he left off in his promising rookie campaign.

The 23-year-old put together another strong outing in Monday's win over the Houston Rockets posting 22 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and two steals in just 25 minutes played. According to Jessica Camerato of NBC Sports, it has put him in rare company to put up those numbers in limited action.

Embiid has shown the ability to make a large impact on the game despite the fact that he's playing in a limited capacity. He has already become the first player since All-Star forward Blake Griffin to score at least 20 points 22 times in the first 36 games of his career.

What has been most telling is that it hasn't affected the manner in which Embiid operates on the floor as he's averaging a double-double with team-highs of 20.8 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. He has scored in double figures in each game that he's played with four outings with more than 20 points scored.

However, the only question mark around him has been his long-term durability as he has yet to show if he can handle the physical rigors that come with playing an entire NBA season. Until he proves otherwise, the minute cap will continue to factor into the amount of time he gets on the floor.
