The Sixers are listing superstar big man Joel Embiid as doubtful to play in Game 4 against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.

Embiid didn't play in Game 3 because of the left knee issue he's been dealing with. The Sixers won Game 3 by a final score of 131-115 and took a 2-1 series lead.

Joel Embiid played in the first two games of the series. He is averaging 22.5 points, 12.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per contest while shooting 48.1 percent from the field and 73.1 percent from the free-throw line. Embiid is the Sixers' best player on both ends of the court, though he hasn’t hit a 3-pointer yet as he’s 0-for-5.

It's a little concerning Embiid didn't play in Game 3 since the Sixers had two days off. Assuming Philadelphia advances to the second round, they will only have only a one day off between games. Hopefully, Embiid's knee gets better because Philly isn't going to go far without him.

Ben Simmons picked up the slack in Game 3 without Embiid. The All-Star point forward put up 31 points and nine assists. Tobias Harris was big time as well, as the swingman didn't miss a 3-pointer and finished with 29 points and 16 rebounds in 36 minutes.

Jimmy Butler added 16 points for the Sixers, who have reclaimed home-court advantage in the series.
