Sixers All-Star Joel Embiid is expected to be available for the team's upcoming back-to-back set against the Spurs and Heat, according to a report from ESPN's Tim Bontemps.

Load management has become a prominent topic throughout much of the NBA landscape. Whether or not the Sixers will utilize this strategy with Embiid this season remains to be seen. He did miss one game in Philadelphia's first back-to-back set of this campaign, but it sounds like that won't be the case this time around.

In his 10 appearances with the Sixers this season, Embiid has racked u averages of 22.9 points on 45.8 percent shooting from the field (34.9 percent from beyond the arc), 11.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.5 blocks and just under one steal (0.9) in 29.5 minutes per outing.

In his last outing — a 109-104 victory over the Knicks on Wednesday night — Embiid scored 23 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and two blocks.

The fact that Embiid is going to suit up for both games is great news for NBA fans, especially when considering the fact that he'll be facing his former Sixers teammate in Jimmy Butler on Saturday.

Friday night's Sixers-Spurs matchup is set to tip inside the Wells Fargo Center at 8:00 p.m. ET, with ESPN having live broadcast coverage. Josh Richardson and Trey Burke are currently listed as questionable for Philadelphia.
