Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid joined elite company on Wednesday night after amassing a career-best 46-point, 15-rebound, seven-assist, seven-block performance under the bright lights of Staples Center against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Not only did the 7-footer tally career-high numbers in points, assists, and blocks, but also joined Shaquille O'Neal, Hakeem Olajuwon, and David Robinson as the only centers since 1983 to have a game score over 45.

Embiid tallied a ridiculous 47.9 score last night in 34 minutes of play, tied for a game-high plus-19 rating with rookie Ben Simmons.

The Process was at his most efficient, scoring on 14 of 20 attempts from the field, making two of his three three-pointers and draining a cool 16 of 19 from the stripe while dominating on the glass and meeting shots at the rim.

Embiid has managed to be among Hall of Famers only 43 games into his professional career, keeping illustrious company after a game for the history books.

The Sixers are just starting to cash in on their multi-million investment and one that is sure to reap many fruits for the franchise going forward, as Philly has managed to get off to an 8-6 record through the early get-go, challenging for a playoff spot only a season after only netting 28 wins.
