Philadelphia 76ers All-Star Joel Embiid is the latest professional athlete to join the growing “All In Challenge” on Thursday. The cause aims to give away prizes in an effort to raise money to help feed people around the world.

The seven-foot Cameroonian center pledged to provide one lucky Sixers follower and a person of their choice the ultimate fan experience by flying them to Philly.

The pair will be given access to the Sixers' practice, be able to warm up with the team and watch a live game courtside. Embiid also promised to throw in his game-worn jersey afterward.

Embiid joins a prestigious list of NBA players participating in the challenge, which includes his Sixers teammate Ben Simmons as well as retired superstars Dwyane Wade, Magic Johnson, and Shaquille O’Neal.

Other notable personalities committing to the challenge are Alex Rodriguez,  The Undertaker, Tony Hawk, Bubba Watson, and Peyton Manning.

Hunger has been a problem worldwide nowadays, especially due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Unprivileged families have been struggling to come up with food on the table, as jobs are in scarcity due to the quarantine period.

The All In Challenge is a great opportunity for athletes to use their celebrity stature in helping make the world a better place. This also gives devoted fans an opportunity to help out those in need, all the while enjoying the perks that come with it.

The Sixers big man, meanwhile, has continued to elevate his game prior to the NBA's league-wide suspension of game. The 26-year-old notched 23.4 points, 11. 8 rebounds. 3.1 assists, and 1.3 blocks in 44 appearances. He was selected as an All-Star for the third straight season and helped the Sixers record a 39-26 slate.
