Joel Embiid is back with his antics on Twitter.

Already known as one of the most popular figures in all of social media, the Philadelphia 76ers center once again made a hilarious post, this time subtweeting his team’s former general manager in Sam Hinkie.

Hinkie used the Houston Astros World Series win to further validate his process, knowing that the newly-minted champions painstakingly went through a similar route. Embiid, a staunch supporter of the former Sixers executive, then tipped his hat to his creator.

Sam Hinkie became part of the Sixers organization in 2012, and played a big role in their decision to draft Embiid, Dario Saric, Jahlil Okafor, along with the acquisition of Robert Covington. However, he stepped-down from his post after four years, and was replaced by Jerry Colangelo. While the team is currently starting to reap the rewards of building around young players, he also received criticism in the past for tanking in order to get better position during drafts.

Hinkie may now we busy with other things, but as long as the Sixers continue their rise that is led by the products of his infamous ways, fans will continue to be reminded of how trusting the process pays off — sometimes.
