Kevin Durant’s mishap on Twitter recently has become a much talked about topic in the NBA lately. He has received mixed reactions on social media, and even had Jimmy’s Seafood trolling him for it.

Now, one of the most active and hilarious league players on twitter, Joel Embiid, has followed suit, as he also tried to poke fun at the Golden State Warriors star forward. He posted a tweet where he jokingly claimed he is better than Michael Jordan, while addressing himself as a third person.

Durant infamously tried to defend himself on social media after one fan tried to point out to him that he shouldn’t have left the Oklahoma City Thunder last year. While there’s nothing wrong about that, he appeared to have forgotten to switch accounts before doing so, or a person from his camp who has access his account was the one at fault. Whichever the case may be, it only goes to show that he may not have personally made all his posts on the social media platform, and could be using alternate accounts to put in good words for himself.

The mistake Durant made is expected to generate more attention in the coming days, especially from other members of the basketball community. Who exactly they are is still up in the air, but the playful jabs that will be directed at him will definitely be very interesting to see.
