The Philadelphia 76ers duo of Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons has emerged as one of the most dominant pairings in the NBA this season. As it turns out, however, Embiid himself would like to get a bit more two-man action with another one of his Sixers teammates.

According to Embiid himself, that man is none other than Tobias Harris. The Embiid and Simmons combination has already proven to be an effective formula, and at this point, JoJo expressed how he'd like to utilize his two-man game with Harris more:

“I try to get him a shot,” Embiid said, via Kevin McCormick of SI.com. “If he doesn't have anything, I usually just go back to the post. In the last couple of games, especially the San Antonio game, he hit me with a couple of pocket passes. That's a part of our game we've used a few times, but I feel like we need to use more.”

Embiid was a beast during Sunday's 113-111 win over the San Antonio Spurs. He finished with 34 points on 13-of-23 shooting, with a couple of dimes coming from Harris. For his part, Harris struggled with his shot against the Spurs (he went just 3-of-10 for six points), but he was still able to make himself useful on the offensive end by effectively playing the two-man game with Embiid.

The Sixers are currently on a seven-game winning streak that extends from late April. Embiid has been an absolute force — he's deservedly earned the honor of being one of the frontrunners in this season's MVP race — and there's no denying that his teammates' willingness to play through him has been one of the primary driving forces behind Embiid's and the team's overall success.
