Philadelphia 76ers guard Josh Richardson will remain out against the Los Angeles Clippers due to a nose contusion.

At the 11:15 mark of the second quarter, Richardson took a hit to the nose from his teammate Alec Burks. Richardson proceeded to head to the locker where it was announced that he won’t be returning to the game. In 10 minutes against the Clippers, Richardson recorded nine points, one rebound, and one assist.

Richardson has played a vital role in the Sixers season, averaging 14 points, 3.5 boards, and 3.2 dishes in 31.2 minutes. The 26-year-old is also shooting 42 percent from the field and 32 percent from three-point range.

Nonetheless, the Sixers will certainly need Richardson back in the lineup as soon as possible for their future games. They’re already missing Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons because of injuries. The Sixers are currently the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference, boasting a record of 37-23.
