Arguably, Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is pound for pound, has the best Twitter game in the NBA, if not in all in all of pro sports. Minnesota Timberwolves big man Karl-Anthony Towns is very much aware of this, and while acknowledging Embiid’s expert use of social media, he implied that he doesn’t particularly share the same interest.

Embiid has gained notoriety for being quite a social media presence, using mostly his Twitter and Instagram accounts as his main platforms to troll people. Earlier, the former Kansas Jayhawk revealed that he also uses social media to get in the heads and under the skins of his opponents, which he actually did heading into a previous matchup with fellow big man and Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond.

We haven’t heard anything yet from Embiid, however, ahead of his date with Towns and the rest of the Minnesota Timberwolves this Tuesday. But even if Embiid tried to talk trash to Towns, it seems like the Timberwolves big man isn’t going to get himself upset over whatever it is Embiid is cooking.

Whether or not Embiid tries to coax Towns into a social media war, it’s what they do on the court Tuesday that would be scrutinized more.
