The Sixers suffered yet another injury blow early in Thursday's do-or-die Game 5 matchup against the Miami Heat after Danny Green was helped to the locker room with an apparent knee injury. Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James saw the entire thing and he could not help but react to the injury of his former teammate.

LeBron took to Twitter to send a shoutout to Green amid his injury scare:

Green fell to the floor immediately and was writhing in pain after Sixers teammate Joel Embiid inadvertently fell on his left knee. Green had to be helped to the locker room and he could not put any weight on the injured knee.

The Sixers have already ruled him out for the remainder of the game and he is expected to get some tests done to assess the extent of the injury. As LeBron stated in his tweet, prayers up for Danny Green here.

Green has started all five games of the Heat series, averaging 9.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.0 steals while also connecting on 2.8 triples per game on a highly-efficient 45.2-percent clip. He's no star but losing Green to injury will be an undeniably major blow for the Sixers.
