Sixers legend Allen Iverson is pumped about the Jimmy Butler trade.

The Philadelphia 76ers acquired Butler from the Minnesota Timberwolves. The team now has a lethal Big Three in Butler, Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons.

The Sixers last went to the NBA Finals when Allen Iverson led them to it back in 2001. The Answer scored 48 points in his only NBA Finals victory, as the Sixers took Game 1, 107–101 in overtime, handing the Lakers their only loss of that postseason.

With Jimmy Butler in the mix, the Sixers have a great chance to get back to the Finals, and Allen Iverson is excited about Butler's arrival in Philadelphia.

Jimmy Butler, 29, is one of the best two-way players in the NBA. In 10 games season, the four-time All-Star is averaging 21.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.3 assists while shooting 47.1 percent from the field, 37.8 percent from beyond the arc and 78.7 percent from the free-throw line.

Barring a late change, Jimmy Butler is expected to make his Sixers debut Wednesday against the Orlando Magic. Butler could become an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2019 if he declines his 2019-20 player-option. Sixers general manager Elton Brand said Tuesday that he hopes this is a long-term partnership with Butler.

Maybe Allen Iverson can help show Jimmy Butler around Philadelphia and do some early free agency pitching.
