After the Philadelphia 76ers selected Markelle Fultz with the first overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, it has not been an easy rookie season for him. Due to a mysterious shoulder injury, Fultz has unfortunately appeared in only four games, averaging 6.0 points (33.3 percent shooting from the field), 2.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 19.0 minutes.

As the 19-year-old has received a lot of media attention for his shooting form, the Sixers official Twitter account has announced Fultz is available to play against the Denver Nuggets:

In addition, according to Jessica Camerato of NBC Sports Philadelphia, Fultz will come off the bench:

When Fultz officially plays, it will mark his first game since Oct. 23 against the Detroit Pistons. While the rookie will not be on a minutes restriction, Chris Haynes of ESPN shares fitness level and situation of the game will dictate how much he plays for head coach Brett Brown.

With just 10 games remaining in the 2017-18 NBA season, it will be interesting to see how impactful Fultz is in his return. As Philadelphia currently has a 42-30 record and are the fourth spot in the Eastern Conference, they are 1.5 games back of the Cleveland Cavaliers (44-29) and tied with the Indiana Pacers (43-31).

For an up-and-coming team like the Sixers, having homecourt advantage in the first round of the playoffs will be crucial to their success. In the final stretch, the Sixers do have some favorable matchups against the New York Knicks, Atlanta Hawks (twice), Brooklyn Nets, and Dallas Mavericks.
