Over the course of this season, Markelle Fultz has become the enigma of the NBA. While he is an undoubtedly gifted player, Fultz has only played in four games for the Philadelphia 76ers this year. The reason being is because of his nagging shoulder injury and his broken jumpshot. While shoulder injuries are not known to setback any NBA players, Fultz's case seems to be a different story. Even in 2018, Fultz's jumpshot is still a mess. He can barely make free throws and he obviously isn't ready to return to the NBA and shoot at a high level.

On Wednesday night, the Sixers will take on the Brooklyn Nets on the road. In the pre-game warmups, Fultz worked his way onto the court to practice his jumpshot, and it didn't really turn out well.

Fultz made some shots, so his jumpshot is steadily improving. However, he is shooting wide open free throws. He missed three of them that weren't even close. Fultz was drafted by the Sixers with the third pick in the 2017 NBA draft. He was widely regarded for his immense offensive prowess, and his jumpshot is proving to be a major obstacle for him. Obviously, Fultz will love to get back on the floor this season for his team. However, with the way his shot looks now, that is an unlikely event.

Nonetheless, with the right patience and diligence, Fultz should be able to re-develop his jumpshot and get back on the court for the Sixers. While they are fine without him, they will be even better with him down the road.
