The Philadelphia 76ers have their No. 1 pick back.

Well, sort of.

Markelle Fultz has rejoined the team after spending some time in Kentucky for rehab. While he was spotted in the practice facility on Wednesday, his status remained that he is out, per Jessica Camerato of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

The team must be thrilled to have Fultz back in the fold at least a little bit. He's been sidelined with a confusing shoulder injury, and hasn't played much yet this season.

There is definitely one of the 76ers players that was happy to see Fultz, and that was Joel Embiid, per Camerato. Head coach Brett Brown said Fultz's participation in practice was “minimal,” but he too was glad to have him back.

Truth be told, the 76ers are doing just fine without their highly touted draft pick. They sit fourth in the Eastern Conference with a 14-9 record.

But that doesn't mean the 76ers should just trade Fultz or bench him or something. The guy was the No. 1 pick for a reason.

The 76ers are in a good position when it comes to Fultz. Because Embiid, Ben Simmons and company are playing well and getting better each game, the team can take its time bringing Fultz back to full strength.

And when that happens, watch out.
