Things just got even better for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Only a few days after Ben Simmons has been cleared to resume full basketball activities, there’s also good news on the ankle injury Markelle Fultz suffered during the Summer League.

It has been reported recently by Tom Moore of the Bucks County Courier Times that this year’s top overall pick has already fully recovered from the injury, and can be expected to participate during the opening of the team’s training camp.

“Fultz said Saturday that he's “100 percent” in the wake of suffering a lateral left ankle sprain in the Sixers' July 8 NBA Summer League opener in Las Vegas.”

The 19-year-old also gave his forecast on how he thinks the Sixers will fare next season.

“I think we're going to get back to the playoffs this year,” Fultz said.

While many may still doubt if his claim will hold true or not, the development on Fultz's health can be considered a huge boost to their chances to return to the postseason.

With their young core having a chance to all play together, and the addition of veterans like J.J. Redick and Amir Johnson to their fold, it's truly exciting times for the Philly faithful now. How much success they'll reach may still be up in the air, but there's definitely reason to believe they can put their streak of losing seasons all in the past.
