Philadelphia 76ers veteran forward Mike Scott had his best outing of the season on Saturday, as he helped the Sixers to a lopsided victory against a hapless Cleveland Cavaliers side. It was more of an absolute thrashing, actually, with Philadelphia coming out on top, 141-94.

Following the game, Sixers guard Josh Richardson shared a photo which captured Scott in what appears to be a very deep state of thought. Scott took to the comments section of Richardson's Instagram post to share that his mind was actually quite far away during that moment.

Scott goes on to explain that he was actually thinking about Bruce Willis in the 1998 hit film “Armageddon,” but what makes this even more hilarious is how the 6-foot-7 power forward appears to have a conversation with himself in the comments section. This is gold right here.

Kidding aside, though, Scott was pretty awesome on Saturday, recording a season-high 21 points on a highly-efficient 9-of-12 shooting, along with three 3-pointers, six rebounds, and two dimes. The 31-year-old made a spot start for the Sixers, with superstar big man Joel Embiid given the night off. Scott certainly took advantage of the rare opportunity, and followed it up with a tremendous post-game performance on Instagram.

Scott has been a steady contributor for Philadelphia this season, averaging 6.0 points and 3.4 rebounds in 19.2 minutes off the bench. There is no shortage of firepower in the Sixers' current lineup, so this is exactly the type of production they need from a wily veteran like Scott.
