It's almost as if the basketball world was no longer surprised to hear about Philadelphia 76ers forward Mike Scott's most recent off-the-court issue. A brief video clip in which the Sixers veteran is seen getting involved in a physical altercation is currently making its rounds on social media.

On Sunday, Scott was reportedly involved in a scuffle with a fan prior to the NFL matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Redskins. The exact details of the fight remain unclear, but we're pretty sure that the fact Scott, a Chesapeake, Virginia native, decided to dawn Redskins gear to an Eagles' home game had a lot to do with it.

However, what's interesting is how Scott actually already provided a foreshadowing of what was to come on social media hours before the incident.

Some Eagles fans were already telling Scott that it might not have been a good idea to come to the Lincoln Financial Field stadium in Redskins gear, but the 31-year-old simply did not seem to care.

Scott took it a step further by responding to some other users, telling them that he was more than ready to go to jail should things get physical.

Mike Scott is certainly not one that will back out from a fight, and this recent turn of events has once again proven the same. It's actually getting kind of silly at this point, with the 6-foot-8 power forward all but actively looking to bring the fight to his direction.

We have yet to hear how the Sixers organization and the NBA will react to Scott's most recent transgression, but we will be sure to pass along any new information as they come, so stay tuned here.
