The Philadelphia 76ers players have been told by the NBA to self-quarantine amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The Sixers played the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday. Players from the Cleveland Cavaliers, New York Knicks, Toronto Raptors, Boston Celtics and Pistons were told to self-quarantine after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for coronavirus.

Jazz shooting guard Donovan Mitchell has the coronavirus as well. The 2019-20 NBA season has been officially suspended.

The Sixers are 39-26 on the season. They are in sixth place in the NBA's Eastern Conference standings. It still doesn't seem real that the NBA season might be over. Hopefully, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban's prediction comes to fruition and the season starts again, with the NBA Finals going into August.
