Sixers veteran Danny Green wasn't too pleased with Patrick Beverley's recent hate tour on ESPN, so the former decided to call out the Minnesota Timberwolves guard on his own podcast. Green wasn't shy about throwing shade at Beverley, particularly when it comes to his matchups against Mavs superstar Luka Doncic.

Beverley has caught wind of Green's feisty comments and has decided to clap back on Twitter. The Timberwolves guard refused to engage with aggression. Instead, he just provided some numbers to try and discredit the Sixers vet's claims (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):

In case you missed it, this is exactly what Green said about Beverley. The Sixers swingman did not hold back:

“People target you too, Pat Bev,” Green said. “You ain't playing no f*cking defense out there. You ain’t stopping Luka… When you play Luka, you’re a cone too!”

Green's comments were in reference to Beverley calling Suns star Chris Paul a “cone” on defense after Phoenix was eliminated in the second round by Luka Doncic and the Mavs. Well, Green believes that it would have been the same case for Beverley if he were the one standing in front of Luka. The Sixers forward was just having none of Pat Bev's slander.

Instead of going off against Green, Beverley clapped back by providing some stats that somewhat discredit the Sixers forward's statement. To be fair, Beverley has found some success against Luka Doncic. The outspoken Timberwolves guard clearly did his research here.
