In a piece for the Players' Tribune, Philadelphia 76ers point guard T.J. McConnell says the Sixers actually have a Big 4 instead of a Big Three.

T.J. McConnell believes sharpshooter J.J. Redick should be included alongside Joel Embiid, Jimmy Butler and Ben Simmons when it comes to the Sixers' star power.

So where does that leave us this year? Man, I don’t know. I don’t want to sound cocky……. but I like this team a lot.

We’ve got three of the 10-to-15 best players in the league, in Joel and Ben and Jimmy — I firmly believe that. And they’re only getting better, and better at playing with each other. We’ve got one of the most underrated players in the league in J.J. (I’m not sure why people talk about our Big 3, when it’s a Big 4.) We’ve got a bunch of young, hungry, talented role players. We’ve got a great head coach, with a great staff behind him.

J.J. Redick isn't a star like Jimmy Butler, Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, but he is very valuable to the Sixers. The sharpshooter is the best 3-point threat in Philly. He is averaging 18.0 points, 2.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game this season and shooting 43.9 percent from the floor, 35.1 percent from beyond the arc and 93.3 percent from the free-throw line.

T.J. McConnell is very important for the Sixers right now as well since Markelle Fultz is away from the team again. McConnell, a rugged defender, is averaging 6.0 points, 1.9 rebounds and 3.0 assists per contest. The Sixers are 21-12 on the year, good for third place in the Eastern Conference standings.
