Shaquille O'Neal is not a fan of Ben Simmons. On a recent TNT broadcast, the Hall of Fame big man made this fact abundantly clear yet again as Shaq threw some massive shade at the Sixers want-away star.

Shaq did not hold back in his most recent criticism of Simmons as he explained exactly why he has no respect for the Australian (h/t Ballislife.com on Twitter):

“The difference between (Embiid) and his soft partner is he can take criticism without being a crybaby and he still wants to play. … That's why I like and respect him. The other guy I don't respect. I've been thining about it. You're missing a whole season because they asked your coach a question, ‘Can we win without you?' And your coach gave a funny answer. That should tell you in the summertime work on your game. … Great players get criticized but the great players also step up to the criticism and perform. So this other guy, I don't respect him. I would get rid of him.”

Talk about a scathing rant. The context of Shaq's monologue also centered around Sixers superstar Joel Embiid and how O'Neal holds him in high regard. As he repeatedly mentioned in his statement, it is clear that Shaq does not feel the same way about Ben Simmons.

This also isn't the first time Shaq has publicly called out Simmons for his lengthy standoff with the Sixers. O'Neal is not one to keep his true feelings to himself and he's being brutally honest about his thoughts on Simmons here.
