Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons will be representing Team LeBron for Sunday's All-Star Game. The Sixers star quickly took to Twitter to share his reaction after learning that he had been selected by LeBron James on his team.

As proven by his tweet below, Simmons is pretty pumped for Sunday's exhibition match:

Simmons will be joining the likes of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Stephen Curry, Luka Doncic, and Nikola Jokic on Team LeBron. They will be going against Kyrie Irving, Jayson Tatum, Kawhi Leonard, and James Harden, to name a few, on Team Durant.

The Simmons and LeBron pairing is particularly interesting considering how there are so many similarities to their games. More than a few folks out there consider Simmons to be a second coming of the four-time NBA champ, but this is probably not something all Sixers fans will get on board with. What we can all agree on, however, is that Saturday's All-Star Game is going to deliver quite a show.

Interestingly, the developments of the All-Star Draft have led to another year wherein Simmons will face off against Sixers teammate Joel Embiid during the All-Star game. It's not like we're complaining, though. We see this pair play together on a nightly basis, so it's nice to see them go at it every now and again. We just hope these two get to match up against each other at one point in the game. Simmons' Defensive Player of the Year-level of play will be put to the test against one of the best offensive juggernauts in the game today in Embiid. Should be fun.
