Doc Rivers drops an epic Gladiator take as the Sixers convincingly take down the Warriors and clamp up Stephen Curry for the entire game.

It is no secret that Steph Curry is the league's top attractive commodity this season. Many fans worldwide dream of watching the greatest shooter of all time. With Curry closing in on Ray Allen's three-point record, some fans expected him to break it today against the Sixers. However, Curry fell short, leaving him seven threes from breaking the record.

Philadelphia defeated Golden State, 102-93, with Joel Embiid leading the way, scoring 26 points. The Sixers, especially Matisse Thybulle, did a tremendous job of shadowing Curry from beyond the arc all night, limiting him to shooting 3-14 from three. After the game, Rivers seemed hyped enough to reference the Gladiator's ‘are you not entertained' line.

Rivers' reaction is warranted because the Sixers are one of the few teams to control and suppress the Warriors' three-point barrage. Curry fans may be disappointed after this lackluster performance since they expected him to break the record today.

However, the Warriors shouldn't be too worried. As seen before, Curry always manages to bounce back from rough shooting nights, showing the world why he is the most excellent shooter in history. And besides, Golden State wasn't blown out of the gym; the Sixers just controlled the fourth quarter— which is something the Warriors should reflect on post-game.

Regardless of today's result, Curry will most likely break Ray Allen's record in a few games, cementing his legacy as the NBA's pillar for three-point shooting. The Sixers improved to sixth in East with a 15-2 win-loss record. Meanwhile, the Warriors fall to a 21-5 record, standing at second in the West.
