Though they're no longer teammates, Sixers forward Tobias Harris and Mavs center Boban Marjanovic remain the closest of friends. Knowing this to be true, The Athletic recently asked Harris to critique his companion's role in “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.”

Marjanovic's role in the film is that of a 7-3 strongman who has his sights set on killing John Wick (Keanu Reeves). The two come face-to-face in a library setting for the first fight scene. Boban, who plays a character named Ernest, got a few hits in, but so did Wick:

When asked to judge Marjanovic's acting skills, Harris offered an honest reply:

The Athletic: Judge his acting debut for me. (Warning: “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum” spoiler alert.)

Harris: His fighting skills were crappy. He got beat bad.

But like, he did good, though. I thought he did good. He was the first death in the movie. I was like, “At least you died first, you know?”

Harris and Marjanovic were traded to the Sixers as part of a multi-player deal on Feb. 6. Harris re-signed with the team, inking a five-year, $180 million contract. Boban, however, signed with the Dallas Mavericks this offseason.

Tobi will certainly miss Bobi:

The Athletic: New role, more offensive responsibility, but have you thought about what life after Boban being on your team is going to be like?

Harris: Yeah, it’s pretty tough. That’s my guy. I was actually talking to him through free agency, seeing what was going on for him, but it’s going to be good. Me and Bobi were best friends, but I have a really good relationship with everybody on the team.

At this point, it's hard to say what the coming season will hold for Harris and Marjanovic. One thing is clear, though: their friendship will live on.
